Rediculousness

Fact: We have a small house, a very small house, about 1,056 square feet to be exact.

Fact: Our bedroom door is roughly one step away from the bedroom door of Macias's nursery.

Fact: We have four monitors.

Don't look at me...you know who the gadget freak is. They range from the very plain and basic, to a movement detector, to a portable hand-held video, and then a fixed 7" LCD screen video monitor.

I don't even turn on the sound since you can hear him in any room in the house and probably outside as well.

Help.

A movement detector?? If your 1-month-old is anywhere near the developmental stage of climbing out of his crib and wandering into the kitchen alone for a midnight snack, I'll be seriously impressed.

no, no, it detects all of the movements so if he stops moving, or more importantly, breathing, it will sound an alarm. it's apparently so sensitive it detects breathing patterns. geez, we're not that stupid, robyn.

I know, I was kidding!

Classic Morgan. Love it. Does your motion sensor have different sensitivity settings? Unless Soren is asleep, if the motion sensor is on its most sensitive setting, everything will set it off. Can be quite annoying. But I found (still find) the monitor comforting. And our house is less than 1400 square feet - we can totally hear him from the living room. :)
