I had my 6 week post natal appointment today and I'm happy to report I'm in working order and everything checks out well. But this post is not about my poop (thankfully). After my appointment I headed to visit my friend Jessica at her office since she had never met Macias.
She invited me in to her office for a longer visit rather than sitting in the car. As I went to take Macias out of his car seat we noticed that he had finally pooped. His digestive system is changing of late and instead of having four poops a day he has one massive one every 2-4 days. Today was day 3.5 and he decided to strike.
As we lifted him out we assessed the damage. It was running out the left side of his diaper, down his leg. He moved his hand and swiped his leg, now it was on his hand. The mustard color (and consistency) had seeped its way from the car seat cover, down the belt, through the harness and out the bottom. It took us about 20 minutes to get him completely cleaned up with a new diaper and onesie (thankfully I came prepared!) and for the rest of the mess we just had to shove paper towels in various areas of the car seat until I could get home and clean it (which took my about 45 minutes).
On a positive note, I now know how to disassemble the car seat. I hope I can put it back together.

lol awesome
I am soooo glad I have you to fill me in on what I have to look forward to. Yuck!
I'm always amazed that something so tiny could produce so much poop!
You are a real mother now. Welcome my friend.
