For a first time mom I think I'm pretty lucky. I go to bed between 9-10pm and Morgan stays up to give Macias his one bottle of formula a day which he normally takes between 11pm-12am. Then he wakes up around 3 or 4am and then again between 6-7am. That means that I get a pretty good amount of sleep. Or I would, if it weren't for the phantom cries.
These are the cries that I hear in my head that aren't actually being vocalized. I dream about babies, I hear cries, as I'm drifting off to sleep I hear them over the box fan in our room and Morgan's wheezing and snores (those sometimes sound like a baby crying off in the distance). I look at the video monitor and Macias is sound asleep. So, it's not the actual crying that keeps me up at night, it's the voices in my head.
Can't blame that on the baby.

Talk to Kelsey...she's been hearing (and listening) to voices in her head for YEARS.
