Encounters of the strange and unusual

Apparently it has now come to the attention of strangers that I am pregnant. Today's observation took place at CVS. I had ponied up to the counter with my hairspray, gummy bears, snickers, and a couple other items (don't judge me). I was with a friend and after I had finished paying I turned sideways to say something to her. All of a sudden the woman who checked me out exclaims:

"Oh, I didn't see all what was going on up front!"

Um, what?

My friend and I were confused and were looking at the counter in front us to see if we had missed something. Finally my friend turns to me and says, "I think she's asking if you're pregnant".

I turned to the woman who checked me out and she says to me, "so, when are you due?"

Seriously?

So it begins...

At least she didn't say it when you were walking away.... (meaning, of course, that it's JUST your belly that's expanding). :)

Also, at least she didn't spontaneously touch you without your permission, which might happen. Get ready.

I agree about that touching business. People are mighty free with their hands when your belly sticks out.

LOL! That is fantastic! What a strange thing to just say outright to a complete stranger...especially in that way. Wow...I can't wait for my own experiences.
