Spring Fling

Friday was the first of many (I hope) Dawson + Wissmach Spring Flings I attend. One of my bosses, Neil Dawson, has a house on Whitemarsh Island with a dock and boat. Every summer the company has Spring Flings where we work half a day on Friday and then go out to his dock where he supplies lunch and we go out on the boat to water ski, tube, wake board, and swim. There are also jet skis to drive (Pearce actually got pulled over by the “water police” and given a warning ticket for not obeying the rules). I was a little leery of donning a bathing suit in front of my coworkers but everyone was doing it so I gave into peer pressure. I hope that people didn't judge me too much.

I spent half the time out on the boat and went tubing with Luci. We had a blast! One of the best moments was when Luci's husband, Kevin, snuck up behind Marvin (my project manager) while he was sitting on the floating dock and pulled him backwards into the water. I caught it with my camera at the perfect moment. That one's going down in history!

All in all everyone had a great time, and it's nice to know that I work for a company that knows how to work really hard and play just as much...and that they appreciate their employees.
