Tonight I became a "guest speaker" for the first time in my life...and it was in front of the toughest crowd I could imagine...the girl scouts. Sure they look all cute and innocent but girls, especially 12 year old girls, can be brutal. Therefore, I was somewhat reluctant to stand in front of them and talk on architecture but they are working towards their architecture and environmental design badges and I was approached by one of my colleagues to speak with the girls. It was a great feeling to impart some of my $100,000 education onto them (it had to come in handy sometime, right!?) ...and they didn't laugh at me or make me cry so that's good! Damn you cookie fiends!

Am I even responsible enough to be a role model?
