Birthday Weekend

This past weekend was my birthday and boy was it packed with adventure. Pirates, treasure, and much more! We are sure exhausted.

Morgan treated me to breakfast in bed and then took the family to Hilton Head to go miniature golfing. It was Macias' first time and he had a great time. Especially at the end when he was given a pirate flag and his very own "gold doubloon" good for a free game since Morgan got a hole-in-one.

After a yummy lunch we went home for naps and then back out to go bowling. Another activity we as a family have never done since we never had a bowling alley nearby. We had a fun time and wouldn't you know, Macias got another gold doubloon from the arcade. We went home and put both of them in his treasure chest that he and I made on Friday when he was home from daycare.

As an added bonus, here are photos of the previous weekend when the ice cream truck visited our neighborhood and we went down to the pond to visit "Crocky", the alligator that lives there. Macias really wanted to get his picture taken with Crocky so this is the best I could do without him getting eaten. Crocky is the spec in the background.
