But, trudging along.
My mom got re-married in Pennsylvania this last weekend and Macias, Morgan and I took the trip up. It was Macias' first airplane flight and he did well. We just got back yesterday and are exhausted.
The wedding was nice, but bittersweet. We had it at my grandmother's house and she is battling a very bad and aggressive type of ovarian cancer and the prognosis is not good. It was hard to be joyous on a day we should be, knowing that it was very well the last time I will ever see my grandmother. It was a farewell trip along with a new beginning.
It was important to us that my grandmother meet his great-grandson and boy did he cut it up. He was the life of the party (despite missing the entire ceremony for crying).
I also got to see Ben which was nice. I miss hanging out with my older brother. He and his girlfriend, Kimberly, made the trip all the way from Boise.
Besides dealing with that we are just working and trying to stay positive and ride out the wave of uncertainty like most people in this economic spiral.
What a positive post. I guess I need to work more on my positivity. Looks like I'm not doing so hot.
Sorry for the long break. I'll try and post pictures soon.

I've been wondering how you are doing...the internet silence has been long!
So sorry about your grandmother.
Love ya.
p.s. How dare you use a pre-fab blog background?!
j/k. I like it.
Hey, lady! Seriously, we need to do coffee or take the boys to the park. Hope things get better. I'm a phone call away. Sorry I've been out of touch.
