Lies

This post goes out to Christy Crandall Beal who once commented on my blog that after about 9 months post baby the extra baby pounds I am holding on to will just melt away with no effort.

Maybe for you - you and your sister and your crazy genes and metabolism, but not for me sister. I am plagued to walk around with my 5-6 extra pounds of baby weight for the rest of my life.

That is all.

I don't feel any pity for you- I know where you're carrying that extra five pounds. A little extra boobage never hurt anyone! :)

Mmm, hmm. Every child I've had has added 5 pounds to my overall physique. Luckily I was pretty skinny when I got pregnant with Ellie because I now live about 20 pounds heavier. And yes Jay, a few of those pounds do reside in the chest area but the rest gravitate to the tummy and bottom. It's okay. I just figure these are the sacrifices we make to have kids, and they're worth it right?

After some regular jogging last summer, I made it down to the pre-baby weight...but I'm not shaped the same anymore! Of course, now there's no time for jogging...and no extras in the boob area either...
