Success!

Macias slept through the night last night!

He has been toying with me the last four or five days. He has been waking up around 3am and crying, then again at 4 and 5 am, making me get up at 5am to resettle him since he would inevitably move himself to where his head was hitting the crib. Finally he would cry from 6am off and on until he gets up at 7am for breakfast.

But, last night we gave him his full feeding at 9pm, I woke him up at 11:30pm for his last meal, which is usually lighter since he's very sleepy. He was in bed by 11:50pm and woke up to be fed at 7am! This is a bigger feat than it sounds since he apparently did this while having a huge crap in his pants. Who knows how long it had been there since when I went to change his diaper some of it was dried/caked on to his legs and was all on the inside of his pjs (yes, he was wearing a diaper). I had to give him a bath just to soften it up enough to clean it off. He has finally found his thumb though, so I think that helped soothe him through the night.

Let's hope he keeps this up and can soon drop the 11:30pm feeding.
