Today is Father's Day and while I wish all of the dads out there (especially mine) a happy one, I'm more excited to be able to celebrate it in my own home with Morgan. Today is Morgan's first Father's Day and while it might not mean a lot to him yet, I hope it will as the years go by and Mace and him become buddies.
I can't express enough how much Morgan means to me, especially these last ten days. He has been my maid, my support system, my "can you get me..." person, my personal shopper, and my friend. He has stepped up to the plate with changing blow out diapers and cleaning up pee off of the wall, learning how to give a bottle and although there have been a couple close encounters with strangulation by onesie, he's getting better at dressing the boy as well.
Mace is already so lucky to have Morgan as his dad, I can't wait for him to be old enough to recognize it.
And, to put everything in perspective, please re-read last year's Father's Day post It's truly incredible how far we've come.
I love you , Morgan and Happy Father's Day!!!

First, I have to say I LOVE that smiling picture of Mace! So insanely cute.
Second I read last years father's day post and, as I haven't been doing this blog thing too long, it was the first time I'd read it. Based on that post and the one today it sounds like Morgan is going to be an incredible daddy!
I'm so excited for both of you. Children have made my life and my marriage so much richer. Love you and Happy Father's Day to Morgan.
I am loving every second of this transformation you and Morgan are making into parenthood...it's precious and priceless! Happy 1st father's day Morgan!
