Yesterday I decided to drive by our house site to see if the foundation had been started. It not only had been started but it is finished. While I was on site, there were two men still working on it and they told me that our house was to be delivered the very next day. So, Morgan and I went out there again after work tonight and there was our house! It had been delivered, lifted by crane and put on top of our foundation, and is now ready to start being finished.
At this stage they will put the interior doors and trim in, put in the finished flooring, put on the siding, shutters, and front porch (I'm sure I'm missing some details but you get the idea). It finally looks as though we're getting a house! The two pictures above are from yesterday and today.

Wow that's fast! At this rate, you'll be in your house before we get a chance to have you over to see ours! I can't wait to see it when it's finished. Is yours the first one to go up?
